Initial press reviews of “The Elements of Brand Design”
Since early June, our book The Elements of Brand Design has been available in bookshops worldwide, sparking reviews from numerous media outlets. Rather than providing a historical overview, the book focuses on the present, offering insights into the design DNA of international brands such as Netflix, Instagram, Nike and Deutsche Bank through more than 100 case studies.
A particular focus is given to the role of brand design in the age of generative AI. The British design magazine Creative Review highlights the enduring relevance of the core principles of effective brand design, while It's Nice That explores the evolution of modern branding. In the ”Schaufenster“, the newspaper supplement of ”Die Presse“, Valerie Zehethofer asks what makes brands stand out, and in an interview for the German Design Council's magazine Design Perspectives, we discuss the keys to successful brand design. Finally, Elisa Krisper describes the book as a Must-read for Creatives in Internet World Austria. We are pleased with the continued positive press coverage.

A Tribute to a Green Hero
On 9 June 2026, the book “SUPER PUMA – The Story of a Brand Character” was unveiled at PUMA’s headquarters in Herzogenaurach. This 480-page publication was created in close collaboration with the PUMA Archive team and designed by vista. During the presentation, Ulrich Planer, Lead PUMA Archive, shared insights into the project's creative process and the origins of the iconic brand character. Comprehensive in its coverage of SUPER PUMA's history, the book presents all 20 comics in their original size for the first time and also includes three previously unpublished stories featuring the superhero. The book was simultaneously presented to the comic book community at the Comic-Börse in Erlangen. “SUPER PUMA – The Story of a Brand Character” is available in bookshops and via OPTIK BOOKS (https://optikbooks.de/superpuma/).
