Startups welcome!

Startups welcome!

To be successful, you have to be noticed – Startup Week Düsseldorf offers new entrepreneurs a platform for ideas, contacts, presence and business. Initiated by the Office of Economic Development Düsseldorf, this format will spark an innovative spirit!

The bright yellow image with its detailed and concise logo signals a sense of optimism and diversity. Now in its seventh year, the unmistakable key visual with its positive radiance can be seen at almost 200 events with more than 5,000 visitors throughout Düsseldorf.

The appeal of Startup Week now extends far beyond the city: the event attracts startups and companies from Hamburg, Munich, Berlin and, of course, the Rhine-Ruhr economic region to Düsseldorf. The events are used to present, inform and network, providing an excellent opportunity to build bridges between companies and startups.

In developing the brand identity, the aim was not just to create a logo, but to develop a complex branding that works equally well in digital and analogue applications. Startups stand for innovation, diversity and dynamism. This became the approach for the design concept. Instead of a logo, there is a flexible wordmark based on the typeface “Pattern” by type designer Eike Dingler.

“This week we provided a platform to bring together key regional and national players. The positive feedback shows us how important this platform is for the exchange between start-ups, companies, investors, associations and universities.”
