  New book on the history of Lufthansa

  Based on newly accessed sources and materials from the company's archives, ”Lufthansa – The First 100 Years“ offers a compelling narrative of Lufthansa’s development—set against the backdrop of Germany’s turbulent twentieth century. Political, economic, and technological contexts are explored alongside the company’s evolving brand identity, characterized by consistently innovative design. The book provides insight into landmark aircraft, key developments in engineering and global reach, and the day-to-day operations that shaped the airline’s direction. With rare photographs, vintage advertising material, and internal documents, this volume combines historical insight with visual richness. The book, designed by vista, will be published in March 2026 in German and English editions by Prestel Verlag.

  80,000 visitors in Japan

  On July 5, 2025, the last of a total of four exhibitions in Japan on the history of West German graphic design after 1945, based on holdings from the A5 collection, came to an end. The exhibitions “Back to Modern” and “Identity Systems Germany” were seen by a total of nearly 80,000 visitors at four locations in three cities. vista developed the content concept and communication media in collaboration with Japanese project partners. Stations for the exhibition in Europe are currently being prepared.
